What species of duck is this? Xi, who took the photo, doesn't know either. I think my duck would look great in this shade of blue too!
Note to duck: check out star filters with Florence at MS tomorrow.
On the way home with a bag of brine shrimp, the hours darkened and a fluttering shadow ambled over me amidst the fern-tinged lower branches of the old rain trees. I thought it was an early bat, but it turned out to be a moth of mammoth proportions, greeting the night somewhat beyond its traditional season of free spirits. What oracles of nocturnal life cycles might this silent augur bring in its wake, as a year of tumult and an era of resurgent sophistry threatens to inflict a recapitulation of tensions. Da capo?
mrs budak (and monkey too) don't want to go watch King Kong with me!! Wah!!! :@

I'd like to ask you once and for all. When you refer to your duck, what is it exactly are you referring to?
Because when you refer to your duck, it brings to mind something that shouldn't be brought to mind.
Thank you.

For what it's worth, I photographed a very similar duck in Taormina, Sicily, recently. Still trying to find out what it is!

I've also seen this duck in Italy. It's a Ringed Teal. It's really from South America, but can be found in Europe.
