Another view of the juvenile oriental whip snake we spotted at Sungei Buloh last month. The trees along the route are rife with weaver ants, and the serpent took quite a beating (or biting), with a number of nicks on its hide and the disabdomened torso of a soldier on its flank. With luck, it should have by now regained its composure and sloughed off its worn skin to emerge a greener shade of brown.
