A man named Aki Ra wages a solo war against the landmines that maim his countrymen in the name of a cause as righteous as death. At his side was a young lady who was won over by his passion and pain, and who joined Aki Ra in a mission of mercy. An hour's drive by jeepney on a dusty road from Siem Reap, the Cambodia Landmine Museum houses mementos of killing fields and shelters the orphans of families splintered by shrapnel. Aki Ra now works alone again, in the company of grief and the children who laughed off lost limbs and a life of disability to battle history with defiant hope.

Hi Budak,
Thanks for visiting our blog and writing about Hourt. The news is, as you've put it, heartbreaking.
I see you've been to the the new Landmine Museum. Must be very different from the old place. Did you get to meet Aki Ra and Hourt?
