This tomb is well-known to those who frequent MacRitchie Reservoir Park. Who lies beneath its stone tablets that mark the boundary between the lush jungle and liquid lake, and who are those who continue to pay tribute to the soul enshrined on a slab that faces the dull green of a deep pool? And why do a pair of carved turtles stand guard, silent and shelled in mossy green?
Lim Bo Seng?

nope. not Lim Bo Seng's tomb. this is the tomb of a Madam Fan (范) who married into the She (佘) Family. probably schooled and is a scholar.
from the design of the tomb, may be a Teochew or Hokkien. but that's a guess.
