This Kendall's rock gecko played hide and seek with my duck and other animals near the foot of a large tree. Unfortunately, my duck much prefers exposing himself with blind regard for fragile sensibilities and hence isn't very good at hiding or seeking. The lizard froze for a while as if he were stunned to have come across a larger and fowler version of himself. Having no eyelids to shield his soul from the offensive sight, the gecko swerved about to avert his view and finally scooted into a crack too sharp for my duck to penetrate, in which he could recover from the trauma and rue the fate of less lucky lizards.
