This salticid (possibly an species of Irura) must rank as one of the cutest in its family. No more than half a centimetre long, the spider appears as a squat pimple that bounces on eight undersized legs. Faced with a duckblock, two beady anterior median eyes stared from a boxy cephalothorax, forcing my duck to blink and back down from hindering their passage down a post of deceptive normality.
